Adrian Mankovecký from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design Bratislava in Slovakia is the winner of the Electrolux Design Lab 2011 competition. His Portable Spot Cleaner surpassed a field of 1,300 entries from over 50 countries.

The Electrolux Design Lab finalists will present their individual solutions for compact living at Room Home Intelligence, Business Design Centre, London, 7th Sep.
The eight concepts will be scrutinised by an expert jury panel on the day but we want to know who you would pick as the winner.

Award winning architects and designers to judge eight global finalists at Room Home Intelligence, Business Design Centre, London, 7th Sep.
The winner of the 2011 Electrolux Design Lab competition will need to impress a jury consisting of leading architects and product designers at a live event in London on 7th September at the Room Home Intelligence Conference. Danish designer Cecilie Manz; award winning architects Hayes and James Slade; and Henrik Otto, Senior Vice President of Global Design at Electrolux, will assess eight finalists as they present ‘Intelligent Mobility’ themed domestic appliances.
