Electrolux Design Lab in Korean Design Book – ‘2010 Creative World of Design Competition’

Competing in the Electrolux Design Lab competition provides not only the opportunity to win a work placement at an Electrolux global design centre for six months, but for all of the students that make it through to the final round, their ideas live on.  This Korean publication includes all eight concepts from the 2009 Electrolux Design Lab finalists.

Electrolux enhance the eight best concepts that are submitted to the contest every year, creating animations, news stories and physical models. These are then distributed globally and appear in magazines, newspapers and blogs, not to mention the physical tour of the models that see them profiled at museums, galleries and Electrolux events.  All of this provides  great exposure for anyone looking to take those first steps in the world as  a designer and should provide  an added incentive to enter the competition.
